A&S Competition: Myth Monsters and Beasts

Calling all artisans! If you’d like to contribute to the artistic spirit of All Hallows Eve, we invite you to join this year’s Arts & Sciences display and competitions.

Theme: Myth, Monsters & Beasts

This year’s theme celebrates the creatures, legends, and folklore that have inspired artists throughout history. Let your imagination run wild with creations such as:

  • Greco-Roman pottery featuring mythological figures
  • Jewelry inspired by Mjölnir, Yggdrasil, or other legendary symbols
  • Scrollwork adorned with whimsical creatures and medieval dragons
  • Embroidery of intertwined Celtic beasts
  • Or anything else that sparks your creativity!

Remember, the theme is meant to inspire—not limit. We welcome any artwork you wish to share with your fellow Scadians.

Whether your piece is:

  • Finished or still in progress
  • A treasured masterpiece or a project that has been giving you trouble
  • Brand new or previously displayed

Your work is valued, appreciated, and an inspiration to our community.

Competitions & Displays

A&S Competition

There will be a friendly Arts & Sciences competition with no formal judging. The winner will be chosen by popular vote and will receive a fun prize!

Largesse Competition

Enter an item of largesse for a chance to win! The winner will have the honor of selecting one item of largesse from all the entries to take home.

Community Display

We will also host a display celebrating the creativity of our Kingdom. Bring your own work—or bring a treasured piece that was made for you by another artisan. This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the talent of others and share the artistry that enriches our community.

Display Information

Display cards will be provided, but you’re encouraged to bring:

  • Descriptions of your work
  • Documentation
  • Notes about your process or inspiration
